Poker Hand variants
|
Poker is a Card Game where two to ten Players sits around the tale and delas with the deck of 52 cards. Then
they place bets and the player with the best poker hands wins the Hand.
The best poker Hand can be determined as :
Royal Straight Flush : A Royal Straight Flush is when you have the Top of the Cards( Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten ) all of the Same Suit.
Straight Flush : A poker hand consisting of 5 cards of the same suit who ranks form a sequence. The example of a Straight Flush is 2-3-4-5-6 of all the Same Suits like Hearts, Spades, Diamonds and Clubs. The Highest
Possible Straight Flush A-K-Q-J-10 also called Royal Flush.
Four of a Kind : Four cards of the same rank, i.e. four Aces, plus any fifth card. As always, higher ranks are better -- four Aces would beat four Queens.
Full House : Three cards of the same rank, with a pair of another rank. For example, KKK33. The higher ranking three cards determines which full house beats another -- 99933 beats 44422.
Straight : A poker hand consisting of 5 cards whose ranks form a sequence. The highest possible straight is AKQJT (Broadway) and the lowest straight is 54321 (the wheel).
Three of a Kind : Three cards of the same rank, like kkk with two unpaired cards. As always, a higher ranked three of a kind defeats a lower ranked three of a kind -- 99932 beats 666AK.
Two Pair : Two cards of one rank, two cards of another rank and a kicker of a third rank. For example JJ882. KK332 defeats QQJJ9.
One Pair : Two cards of the same rank, and three unrelated cards. For example, JJK73. A higher pair defeats a lower pair.
No Pair (High Card) : A hand with no pair or any of the other ranking values above.
Order of Bets :
OPEN: In case no betting has been done then on your turn You can open and open the cards. It means making the bet.
CHECK: You can check only if no one have not opened the betting, then when your turn comes you can say check which means that you you dont want to open the game neither quit the Game. If earlier someone have opened the game you can only have the rest options of SEE, RAISE and FOLD.
SEE: It means matching your bet with another player. When you "SEE" the other player you can match the bet and can choose the option of RAISE.
RAISE: This option initially needs the option of SEE to be accomplished. When you want to raise your bet, you first have to SEE the other persons bet(Matching the bet amount) and then RAISE your bet by any amount.
FOLD: When you feel that now you are not in the position of winning the Game or you cannot bet more or its hard for you for continue the bet then you can FOLD your cards placing them on the table facing down. It means that you are quitting the game and you lose all the amount you bet.
Sit Out: Sitting out is the act of choosing not to participate in a hand of poker while remaining seated at the table. Players who sit out and miss the blinds, must post both blinds to rejoin the game. Players missing two rounds of the blind (two circuits of the Dealer button) are removed from the table to free their seat for other players.
