This variation is not especially popular but it can still be found in some European casinos today. In most Baccarat versions, the player who wagered the most money becomes the banker; or the role of banker goes from player to player in a counterclockwise circle. In Baccarat en Banque, the house takes on the responsibility of banker, who is usually one of the casino workers. Because of this, it is possible for the players to make larger bets.

This variant of baccarat is played on two tables. There are two players in Banque baccarat. The dealer deals two hands and two cards for the banker. Thus, the players can make bets on two hands by placing their bets on the middle of the joined tables.

The rules of baccarat banque are very much similar to those of other baccarat games. According to the rules of baccarat banque, each player tries to collect hands, which would amount to nine or so points together. Here you should know the amount of points for each rank: aces cost one point; cards from 2 to 9 cost due to the nominal value; pictures and tens give zero points. As the rules of baccarat banque say, if the overall sum is ten or more, ten is subtracted from it and the remainder is the result of a round.

There are several options for a player, when it comes to the third card. If the very first hand collected from zero to five points, then the player receives the third card. If the banker collected from zero to four points, then he receives the third card, if he did more, he doesn`t get any. At last, if he collected five points, then the decision about drawing the third card is made depending on the player`s hands. There is the following payoff structure due to the rules of deux tableaux baccarat: a payout for a bet on a player is one to one, a payout for a bet on a banker is one to one minus 5 percent, and a payout for a bet on a tie is nine times your bet (or eight times).
